Rock & Bike Fest. Press Release Epic Charity Drive Challenge
The International Rock & Bike Festival (www.rockandbikefest.co.uk) which takes place from 13th July to 16th July at Carnfield Hall, South Normanton are pleased to announce that this will be the starting point for a huge journey to raise funds for the registered charity Soldiers off The Street that will see local lads Kevin Haydon (Kappie) from Arnold and Michael Gibbons from Nottingham (Gibbo) drive their 22 year old Ford Fiesta through 33 countries, including Belarus, Russia & 31 more far flung destinations in 18 days.
Soldiers off The Street is also this years chosen charity by The Rock & Bike Festival and Kappie and Gibbo will be waved off by some of the thousands of motorcyclists and their families at 6pm on Thursday 13th July at the festival site.
We are supporting the forgotten ex service personnel whose lives have been affected by homelessness. We all think they deserve better after going through the traumatic experience of war in far off lands, what they have been through for the country they love, to be forgotten and homeless is a national disgrace.
You can keep up with the boys progress at www.facebook.com/kappie.hayden
