Howling one man blues band Thomas Ford is from the South West of the UK. He has been playing sold out shows at some of Europe's biggest and best known blues, jazz and roots music festivals for the last 5 years or so, having established a large following in the UK.

Recent stages include Cognac Blues Passions (FR), Moulin Blues (NL), Hometown (GE), Blues sur Seine (FR) and RDV L'Erdre (FR) - where, in 2013, Thomas won the international Tremplin blues competition, becoming the first winner in its 25 year history to be awarded all 6 prizes (headline spots at other festivals in France). He was also the first solo artist to win this prestigious competition.


His self-penned self-penned blues songs are observant, cynical, loaded with humour, inuendo and rooted in delta blues tradition. His virtuoso bottleneck guitar playing and raucous rack-mounted harmonica are complemented by foot stomped percussion and vocals which are shouted, spat and snarled from an otherwise reserved mouth.
