Lil Roosters bring their Cajun Swamp music to the party. No strangers to the dog as a duo, chris hall and hazel scott (accordions/guitar) on this occasion bring their expanded line up (lil roosters big band) with the added weight of ben topley on drums and jim widdop on steel and strat. As if this wasn’t enough cause for celebration the same 4 guys got a new band together in the year before lockdown playing southern gothic (the twisted side of Americana). This band, called The Highball Devils combined pedal steel, bass, guitar and drums (what no accordion! LOL) to create a sound that evokes the dark end of the street. So a double header in a way. One set of Cajun goodtime followed by a second set about the underbelly of life and the bad times!
